Looking after our guests & team remains our number one priority. The experience may look a bit different, however we hope that it will feel the same. It's still the Perfect Team caring for you and delivering the same great service and attention to detail you've become accustomed to, as well as supporting our local suppliers and producers.
Her Majesty's Government have now amended the law to include the following safety procedures:
Face masks are mandatory in all hospitality businesses. We ask that all guests who are able to, wear a mask at all times unless you are seated at a table. As well as this, all members of our team will wear a face mask too.
Bar service is no longer available. A member of our Perfect Team will take your food & drink orders at the table.
A maximum party size of six guests is available both inside & out. This includes children & babies. Please let us know on arrival how many guests are in your group.
All guests are asked to remain seated at their table, unless visiting the bathroom. Children should remain seated & supervised at all times.

We have used reclaimed sash windows to partition off sections of the dining room to create our own unique style without loosing the quickness The Pear Tree has become famous for, and implemented a one-way-system throughout our Inn.
Our current temporary opening times are:
Monday to Saturday: 11am-10pm (Lights out at 10pm!)
Sunday: 11am- 9pm

We buy our ingredients whenever possible from local farmers and growers, and we don't buy out of season! Our menus change regularly to make the most of the fresh crop and local specialities with all of our meat being free range and traceable right back to the animal itself. All of our fish is caught in British waters with a 24-hour port to plate policy and our eggs come only from happy chickens! To top it off, we bake our own cakes and biscuits in our kitchen as well as producing our own seasonal jams, chutneys and ice creams.
Comfort and style sums up the eight contemporary bedrooms, all named after varieties of pears and split between the inn and a beautifully converted barn. For exposed beams, mullion windows and rural views, stay in the inn, otherwise choose the converted barn for upholstered easy chairs, striking statement pear motif wall coverings and fired earth tiled bathrooms.
